Two and Three Dimensional Works by Nanci Aeilts

Nanci's Millinery

Throughout her 16 years of employment by the New Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Nanci has had many opportunities to put her new found millinery skills to work. She has designed, altered, painted, sculpted, and repaired many styles of hats and headdresses. She has also done millinery work for several other venues including an Actors Equity benefit at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway and for designer Ed Gleeman at the Bloomington Artistry Theatre, Bloomington, MN.

If you'd like her to do millinery work, whether for yourself, for the theatre, or for other uses, Nanci would be happy to create something special. To place an order or to talk with the artist, go to her Contact Us page.

FEATURED HAT: The Easter Bonnet at left was created by Nanci, as the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres' entry to an Actors Equity AIDS benefit held at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway. The 3' tall bonnet consists of a basket with eggs, chicks, and numerous florals. The benefit is normally open to Broadway Theatres and touring shows only. But because The Chanhassen premiered the Rodgers and Hammerstein production "Easter Parade", the midwestern dinner theatre was invited to participate in the event.
